Hello, February!

FROM REV. TRICIA
“A faithful leader doesn’t stand above the people they guide;
they walk beside them, shaping hope into action.”
The Bishop's Upcoming Visit, Sunday February 1st
I will answer the most important question first - The service is not longer when the Bishop visits! 😉 Our bishop is a member of our congregation, who because of the nature of his work, can't be with us every Sunday. So, when he or she does visit they join us in our regular practice of prayer. What makes this time special is that Bishop Jeff wants to get to know us, hear what is on our hearts and minds, and see how he can help us in our work. He asked me to tell you specifically that you can ask him anything!' That is why I am hoping as many of you as possible will be able to join us on Sunday, especially our children and young adults. You are our future. You are why we work so hard at Trinity. Come meet your bishop and get to know him and tell him what is on your heart.
Supporting the People of Minnesota
Several of you have asked how we can support our brothers and sisters in Minnesota. My clergy colleague there says that what we can do is pray and, if possible, donate to the Episcopal Church in Minnesota (ECMN) Migrant Support Fund. These funds, administered by the ECMN, are used to address the immediate needs of migrants by keeping families safely together; providing for basic needs such as food and housing; securing or maintaining adults’ ability to work; and avoiding incarceration for those who have not been convicted of a crime. Donations can be mailed to:
Episcopal Church in Minnesota
With "Migrant Support Fund" in the memo.

In-person Compline
Those who wish to gather in person are warmly invited on the following dates at 6:00pm:

All are welcome to share in this beautiful Lenten practice.

Stations of the Cross
Fridays of Lent • 6:30pm
Beginning on February 20th
From the earliest days of Christian pilgrimage, believers have walked the path Jesus took to the cross, pausing for prayer and reflection along the way. When pilgrimage to Jerusalem was not possible, churches brought the journey home through the devotional practice known as the Stations of the Cross.
Join us each Friday at 6:30 p.m. during Lent as Jude Morrissey leads us through Stations of the Cross. Each week will feature a different source and tradition, offering a variety of ways to walk with Jesus through his Passion and reflect on its meaning for our lives today.
