Wrapped in Love: Trinity Gives Coat Drive
October 1st – 31st
From October 1st to the 31st, we will be collecting brand-new winter coats for boys and girls of all ages and sizes, along with fleeces for teens. All donations will go to the Connecticut Alliance of Foster and Adoptive Families (CAFAF). If you’d like to participate but don’t have time to shop, you may also donate funds and our team of shoppers will purchase coats for you!
On All Saints Sunday, November 2, the coats will be blessed before being collected by our friend Marian Russo from CAFAF, who will ensure they reach children who need them most.
Let’s make this year’s drive our biggest yet—and share warmth, love, and hope with kids across our community.

SNAP Community Dinner
Saturday, November 8th • 5pm
On this All Saints’ Day, as SNAP benefits come to an end for many, we’re reminded of the call to care for one another—especially those in need. Let us honor the saints who came before us by feeding our neighbors and offering compassion in action.
In addition to our ongoing pantry efforts, Trinity will host a community dinner on Saturday, November 8 at 5:00pm. Together, we can be the hands and hearts of Christ in our community.
Let’s honor the saints—and serve like them ... here's how you may help volunteer:
• Help Betheny & Mark in the kitchen on Friday to prepare meatloaf and mashed potatoes
• Help on Saturday to set up & clean up
• Help to prepare sides and snacks
• Gift us with a monetary donation to offset the costs of the dinner

Prayers for November:
Living in Gratitude. Sharing in Joy.
Each Sunday, during our Prayers of the People, we’ll focus on gratitude and joy using the Litany of Thanksgiving from the Book of Common Prayer.
The litany lists many blessings—such as the beauty of creation, daily provisions, and spiritual gifts—and invites reflection on the blessings of life, family, health, and our wider Christian community.
We want to hear from you! If you’d like to add your prayers to our service, please let Betheny know by the Wednesday before Sunday worship. (203-888-6596 or info@trinityseymourct.org)
