About The Event

Gather with us on the third Friday of every month as we explore films that open hearts and spark conversation, reminding us that no matter our skin color, birthplace, or life choices, we’re all navigating the same journey of survival and joy. From thought-provoking documentaries to heartfelt dramas and even the occasional comedy, each film brings something powerful to the table. And yes, pizza, snacks, and beverages will be waiting to make the evening complete!


This month we will be viewing "Small Town Bar," a documentary that explores the lives of gay individuals in rural Mississippi by focusing on two bars—“Rumors,” a quiet neighborhood hangout, and “Crossroads,” a lively anything-goes venue—both serving as rare havens of acceptance in a region marked by deep-seated homophobia and public hostility.
