Our Blessing Pantry is Open!
Jesus fed five thousand people with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish. During these very trying times, we, the parishioners of Trinity Episcopal Church in Seymour, CT wish to be like Jesus and help feed our neighbors in our community. To this end, we have built a free-standing pantry on our property that will be open 24-hours a day, seven days a week for those in need to come and collect
nonperishable food items.
We also have donation bins located near 2 entrances to collect donations to help keep the Pantry full.
A great big THANK YOU to all who participated in making our Blessing Pantry possible, especially Kathy Faircloth and Kim Barton! There are too many people to name here who helped in the building of the pantry, the collection of the items, and are continuing to volunteer by sorting donations and keeping our Pantry stocked. Just know that we are very grateful for those who chose this as a ministry to support. Our work isn't done yet! Keep those donations coming so that this special place may continue to help those in need. If you are interested in volunteering, give the office a call or drop us an email to let us know.
As the sign says ... "Take what you need. Leave what you can. Go with God's blessing."
